TXT Fighter

How’s your TXT-nique? Prove it in TXT Fighter. I voiced two of the major characters (Master Wu and El Pulpo) in this revolutionary fighting game employing texting developed for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad and available here from the Apple iTunes Store. The game was created by Tradewest Games and 5 Elements Entertainment and released by Chillingo. You can practice alone or go PvP (player-vs.-player) with your friends. Moves are done by TYPING a word or letter combo on the screen. The more difficult the word or letter combo, the more powerful your attack.

My Characters

Master Wu is the arch-villain texting-master that trained everyone and you’ve got to work hard to defeat. El Pulpo (the octopus in Spanish) is a luchador with some pretty hefty moves. The supermoves will mess with your head; one involves blanking out all of the keys of the virtual keyboard for a while, another makes them float around randomly, making it very difficult to type your move in, and there are more…

The buzz is great for this game. I just wish I had an iPhone myself to play it! I don’t know if they’ll port it to Android or not, but I hope they do! The video gives you an example of gameplay. I hope you have as much fun playing it as we did recording it.
